Spartan - NY 50, then and now.. This is my favorite boat in the harbor, it is truly one of a kind. The owners are members of the Great Harbor Yacht Club where I worked the first summer after her restoration. On any given weekend from July through to September you can find their uproarious captain and crew traipsing around the island. Spartan is the most beautiful boat I have ever been on; one of Herfeshoff’s best.
